Full Terms & Conditions for Cartlett UK

Please read these terms carefully, as they are the terms under which the customer ('You') agrees to use this website and/or purchase the products ('products') from the Companies using our service ('Us/We'). No other terms or representations shall form part of these terms, unless agreed in writing between you and Us. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Cartlett UK is an online trading division of Cartlett Home & Garden Supplies Ltd, a Limited Company formed in 1968.

Pricing

All prices include VAT where applicable for any product. Shipping charges are to the mainland United Kingdom only, unless otherwise stated.

Ordering

Ordering is fast and secure. To place your order, follow the steps indicated on-line.

The appearance of products on this website is an invitation to you to make an offer for their purchase, by placing an order with us. We reserve the right to refuse orders and no contract will subsist between you and us unless and until we accept your order by e-mail. That acceptance will be deemed complete and effectively communicated to you at the time we send the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail).

Credit Card Security

All credit/debit card details are encrypted in the software of the processing Companies, such as PayPal, Nochex or Google Checkout. When you place your order online using any of the secure sites for payment, we only receive notification that payment has been processed and are not in possession of any other personal payment details.

Availability

Products are subject to availability. If we are not able to supply the products to you for any reason, we will not charge you for these products and will refund any money already paid for the products. However we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses which you may suffer if we do not supply the products.

Despite the fact that any contract relating to orders placed through this website is concluded over the Internet, we each agree that it has been concluded in the United Kingdom in writing. Any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with English law and we each irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Delivery

For those products that are not available from stock, an approximate delivery interval may be shown alongside the product description or advised when the order is placed. These products can be ordered and will be delivered as soon as they are available, either by us or direct from the Supplier or Manufacturer.

Ordered products that are available from stock will be dispatched by us to you within 2-14 days of the date we acknowledge your order although, because delay is sometimes outside of our control, time of delivery shall not be of the essence. As such we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of the products. If you have not received the products within 28 days you may contact us by email quoting your order reference number and cancel that order. We will refund any money paid by you in relation to that order. We will be unable to honour any claim if we have not been notified within the 28 day period.

International

Only a limited number of products are available for international despatch, subject to overall size and weight for posting via Royal Mail Airmail. We will only despatch to the cardholder's address for international orders.

Supply

We reserve the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.

Your Right to Cancel & Returns

Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down for products out of stock. If for this, or any other reason a product is not acceptable, we must be notified in writing within 7 working days, and the product may be returned for a full refund to your credit/debit card account. The product must be returned within 7 working days of the cancellation and be in new condition in the original packaging, in order to be resold again. Certain spare parts are excluded from this returns policy, such as belts and electrical spare parts. A security label may be attached to certain items, giving you the opportunity to inspect and compare to your previous spare part and only in such circumstances where the security label has not been removed or tamperedwith, will we accept the spare part back for refund. Refunds are restricted to the value of the item and not any postage/shipping costs relating to the original despatch.This does not affect your statutory rights. We will not be held liable for the cost of returning any item(s) nor for the loss in transit of any returned item(s). In the event that you have selected the wrong item(s) and wish to return and exchange for another different or similar item(s), we reserve the right to charge postage/shipping charges for the replacement item(s).
